Pay: $25.00 – $36.00/hour (based on experience)
Hours: 40–50 per week | Day Shift | Monday–Friday | Overtime Available

About the Role\n

D&D Manufacturing is seeking a skilled CNC Setup Machinist to join our precision machining team in Ipswich, MA. This is a full-time, hands-on machining position where you’ll be setting up and running CNC mills and lathes in a dynamic job shop environment.

Responsibilities\n

    \n
  • Set up CNC milling and turning machines (Haas, Mazak, Fanuc controls) with proper tooling and fixtures
  • \n

  • Interpret blueprints, GD&T, hand sketches, and verbal instructions to machine precision components
  • \n

  • Machine parts from steel, stainless steel, tool steels, aluminum, plastics, and exotic alloys
  • \n

  • Ensure quality throughout the process using inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, CMMs, height gages, etc.)
  • \n

  • Work independently with limited supervision in a fast-paced, high-mix environment
  • \n

Qualifications\n

    \n
  • Minimum 2 years CNC milling experience in a job shop environment
  • \n

  • Strong knowledge of CNC setup for both mills and lathes
  • \n

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints & GD&T
  • \n

  • Familiarity with Fanuc, Mazak, and Haas controls
  • \n

  • Experience with inspection equipment and machining tolerances
  • \n
