Job Description

Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, or straighten sheet metal and metal plates
Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and work orders
Select appropriate tooling and dies based on material type and thickness
Make necessary adjustments to machine settings for angle, depth, and pressure
Inspect parts for quality and conformance to specifications using measuring tools (calipers, protractors, tape measures)
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on press brake equipment
Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures at all times
Monitor production runs for consistency and report issues to supervisors
Keep accurate production records and complete required documentation
Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and minimize waste
