The Market Manager leads all operational and financial performance within an assigned geographic region. This role oversees project execution, resource planning, customer satisfaction, and financial performance across wireless telecommunications programs. The Market Manager drives standardization, operational efficiency, and cross-functional alignment to ensure high-quality, on-time, and profitable delivery.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities1. Program & Project Leadership

Oversee multiple wireless telecom programs from design through closeout.

Ensure consistent use of project management tools and standardized processes.

Partner with key customers to understand needs and develop solutions.

Build strong program governance, workflows, and team alignment.

Support and manage project and warehouse teams.
2. Process Improvement
-
Analyze performance gaps and identify improvement opportunities.
-
Lead cross-functional improvement projects and process mapping efforts.

Conduct root-cause analyses and implement sustainable solutions.
-
Create and roll out improved procedures and change management initiatives.
3. Planning, Monitoring & Control
-
Develop project schedules, resource plans, estimates, and status reports.

Apply control procedures including variance analysis and risk mitigation.

Track KPIs, SLAs, and productivity measures to ensure continuous improvement.

Proactively identify and resolve risks related to budget, scope, and timelines.
4. Financial Management

Oversee P&L performance for all projects within the market.

Ensure accurate job costing, cash flow management, and contract compliance.

Maintain strong working knowledge of customer contracts and deliverables.
5. Customer & Stakeholder Relations

Maintain proactive, transparent communication with customers.

Lead regular deployment and issue-resolution meetings.

Collaborate with regional and market teams to support smooth project execution.

Build strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
6. Team & Culture Leadership

Partner with Operations, Construction, Procurement, Finance, and Engineering to solve market-level challenges.

Recruit, develop, coach, and retain top industry talent.

Foster a culture of accountability, safety, collaboration, and problem-solving.
7. Market Sustainability & Growth

Structure the market for operational efficiency and reduced volatility.

Identify and pursue growth opportunities that support revenue and margin expansion.

Position the market competitively across carriers, OEMs, and strategic partners.
Required QualificationsEducation & Experience
-
Bachelor's degree required.
-
8-10+ years program leadership experience in wireless telecom (Carrier, OEM, or large integrator preferred).

Experience deploying Wireless, Small Cell, DAS, and/or Fiber solutions.

Strong history of leading cross-functional teams in complex environments.
Technical & Operational Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Ability to interpret A&E drawings and construction documents for take-offs and pricing.

Experience managing construction crews and telecom deployment resources.
-
Proven success in process improvement, root-cause analysis, and operational execution.
Leadership & Communication

Highly results-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication.

Strong project management, financial acumen, and organizational skills.
Certifications

PMP or similar certification preferred.
Industry Knowledge

Wireless, telecommunications, construction, public utility, or government experience required.
Additional Requirements

Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Travel required as needed.
