We're looking for a compassionate, relationship-focused professional to join our Family Support team in Concord. If you're passionate about empowering families, building meaningful connections, and creating lasting change in your community, we'd love to meet you.
About the Role
As a Family Support Specialist, you'll partner with expectant parents and families with young children through regular home visits, providing education, support, advocacy, and encouragement tailored to each family's unique strengths and goals.
This role is built on trust and relationships. You'll meet families where they are—both literally and figuratively—helping them build confidence as parents, celebrate milestones, navigate challenges, and connect with valuable community resources.
Working alongside schools, healthcare providers, community agencies, and fellow Waypoint team members, you'll become an important part of each family's support network while helping children get the strongest possible start in life.
Reflective supervision and ongoing professional development ensure you'll always have the support you need to do this meaningful work.
In this meaningful role, you will:
>Build trusting relationships with families in their homes
>Support healthy parent-child relationships and child development
>Help families set goals, navigate challenges, and connect with resources
>Empower parents with knowledge, confidence, and support
>Collaborate with healthcare providers, schools, and community partners

Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s preferred. Experience in family support, home visiting, parenting education, early childhood, or related services is a plus.
