Position: Machine MillwrightLocation: Ball Plant III (Maintenance Department)Employment Type: Perm position Shift Availability: 2nd, 3rd, Weekend A, Weekend B, and Weekend C shifts
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Machine Millwright to install, maintain, rebuild, and repair a wide range of industrial machines and production equipment. This role is essential for ensuring operational efficiency by expertly managing mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems.
The Millwright will be responsible for a combination of hands-on repair and systematic maintenance:
50%Troubleshooting & RepairProficiently and versatilely troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild all types of mechanical assemblies (manual or automatic), including those integrated with electric, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems.20%Preventive MaintenanceExecute scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) as directed by the equipment schedule to minimize downtime.20%Advanced DiagnosticsPerform accurate troubleshooting by isolating and distinguishing sources of problems in plant production equipment using blueprints, schematics, and effective communication with operators, engineers, and vendors.10%Fabrication & SupportExecute simple welding, plumbing, and basic machining tasks.salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year

Responsibilities
Mechanical Aptitude: Demonstrated mechanical skills and techniques.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial equipment repair is required.

Trade school diploma or equivalent technical background preferred.

Technical Skills & Tools

Demonstrated ability to install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial machinery and equipment.

Must have basic knowledge of electronic controls.

Required to own trade-related tools to perform required tasks.

Working knowledge of general safe work practices.

Required to read, write, and speak English.

System Knowledge: Knowledge of hydraulic and/or electrical schematics, as well as plumbing and piping systems.

Blueprint Proficiency: Ability to effectively use blueprints and schematics.

Diagnostics: Ability to inspect machinery and equipment to identify irregularities and malfunctions.

Lifting Equipment: Ability to operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, jacks, and tractors.

Precision: Ability to use/understand measuring devices and tolerances.

Machining: Ability to use machine tools such as drills, lathes, and millers.

Computer Skills: Ability to use a computer for maintenance records.

Communication: strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with others.
