Job Type: Part-Time
Schedule: Flexible part-time hours, with Monday, Friday, and Saturday availability preferred
Locations: Salem, MA (Primary) and Beverly, MA

Home Decor Group is looking for friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Part-Time Decorating Sales Associates to join our growing decorating team. We specialize in wallpaper, window treatments, paint, and home decorating products. We're looking for individuals who enjoy working with customers, have an interest in home decorating, and are comfortable working independently in a retail environment. These positions will primarily support our Salem, MA location, with opportunities to assist at our Beverly store based on business needs.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with wallpaper selections, decorating products, and color coordination.
Help customers browse wallpaper books, fabric samples, and window treatment displays.
Schedule appointments for window treatment consultations and in-home measurements.
Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer inquiries.
Process customer sales and special orders using our point-of-sale system.
Follow up with customers regarding orders and appointments.
Maintain an organized, welcoming showroom.
Work with our decorating specialists to ensure customers receive excellent service.
Provide coverage between our Salem and Beverly locations as needed.

Qualifications

Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred.
Interest in interior decorating, wallpaper, paint, or window treatments is a plus.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Comfortable using computers and learning new systems.
Ability to work independently and manage customer requests.
Dependable, reliable, and willing to work as part of a team.
Availability on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays is especially desirable.
Flexibility to work between our Salem and Beverly locations is preferred.

Previous decorating or window treatment experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right candidates.
