Job Title: Travel Behavioral Health – LCSW
Location: Falmouth, MA 02540
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift | 30 Hours/Week
Shift Time: 08:00 AM – 06:00 PM (3 Days/Week)
Shift Details:
- Day Shift | 10-hour shifts
- 3 days per week (30 hours/week)
- Rotating schedule
- Every other weekend & holiday required
Job Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a travel assignment in an Emergency Department setting. This role focuses on assessing patients with acute behavioral health needs, developing treatment and discharge plans, coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams, and connecting patients with appropriate community resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive behavioral health assessments for patients in crisis
- Develop and communicate treatment plans with care teams
- Coordinate discharge planning and ensure continuity of care
- Provide individual, family, and group counseling as needed
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams
- Assess psychosocial needs and arrange community-based services
- Act as a liaison between patients, families, and external agencies
- Support crisis intervention and prevention strategies
- Assist with inpatient and partial hospitalization program coverage
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and quality standards
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate in Social Work or related behavioral health field
- Active Massachusetts licensure (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or PhD in Psychology)
- CPI or MOAB certification required
- BLS certification required
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
