Job Title: Automation Control Engineer

Location: Wilmington, MA- Onsite

Duration: 6+ Months- possible extension/conversion

Salary and Other Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position is between $ 75.00/hr- $ 80.00/hr .
\n
\n
Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
\n
- \n
- 8+ years in equipment, automation, or controls engineering with hands-on ownership of automated production equipment.
- Has personally commissioned automated lines ; SAT, bring-up, and debug ; working with integrators or OEMs.
- Hands-on PLC programming ; able to read, modify, and debug line logic directly.
- FANUC robot programming and troubleshooting across servo/motion, machine vision, and pneumatics.
- Machine safety systems: safety PLCs and safety categories, robot safety, light curtains and guarding, and LOTO.
- Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
- Track record keeping equipment running ; uptime/OEE, PMs, and root-cause failure analysis (DMAIC, 5-Why, Fishbone, 8D).
- Able to operate independently on-site.
