Unit Manager (RN/LPN)
Our skilled nursing facility is seeking a compassionate and experienced RN or LPN Unit Manager to oversee the daily operations of an assigned nursing unit. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring exceptional resident care, supervising nursing staff, and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily clinical operations of an assigned unit
Supervise, coach, and support nursing staff
Ensure quality resident care and regulatory compliance
Conduct resident rounds and monitor clinical outcomes
Coordinate admissions, discharges, and care planning
Collaborate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team
Promote infection prevention and quality improvement initiatives
Complete audits, documentation reviews, and follow-up as needed
Qualifications
Current Massachusetts RN or LPN License (Required)
Minimum 3 years of long-term care/skilled nursing experience
Previous Charge Nurse, Unit Manager, or supervisory experience preferred
Current BLS Certification
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations
