Job Summary:The Growth Marketing Consultant helps drive how business units connect with key audiences to strengthen product adoption and support the company’s mission of helping people secure their futures. This role focuses heavily on paid digital media, applying insights, running experiments, building forecasts and models, and developing scalable processes that support audience targeting and performance optimization.As part of the Search, Social, and Growth Center of Excellence, this consultant will manage paid media campaigns from initial briefing through planning, execution, optimization, and reporting. The ideal candidate is analytical, flexible, and highly collaborative, with strong fluency in marketing data, platform tools, and digital channel strategy.Key Responsibilities:Paid Media & Campaign Management
- Own and drive digital marketing strategies supporting brand, financial professionals, institutional, third-party distributors, and worksite teams.
- Develop and execute testing agendas across paid digital activations.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, pacing, and invoicing for all paid initiatives.
- Set up, QA, optimize, and report on campaigns across social, programmatic, and content marketing platforms.
- Build relationships with platform partners, especially in paid social and programmatic buying.
Performance Insights & Optimization
- Support weekly and bi-weekly performance readouts with insights and optimization recommendations.
- Communicate findings and campaign context to internal and external stakeholders.
- Use data and experimentation (A/B, multivariate) to guide marketing strategy.
Strategic Growth & Collaboration
- Identify new channel or platform partners that align with business needs.
- Work cross-functionally with analytics, creative, strategy, and integrated marketing teams.
- Ensure all digital efforts align with larger brand architecture and business goals.
- Present campaign performance, recommendations, and insights to senior stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of equivalent experience.
- 2+ years in digital or growth marketing.
- 2+ years using tools such as:
- Web analytics
- Paid ads managers
- Social listening & publishing tools
- SEO tools
- Google Ads
- Tag management solutions
- 2+ years conducting A/B and multivariate testing.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Agency experience a strong plus.
- Experience working cross-functionally in matrixed organizations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced environments.
- Passion for audience research and experience design; proven ability to apply data to strategy.
- Excellent communication and partnership-building skills.
- Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to apply insights to new areas.
- Ability to formalize and standardize process flows and quality control steps.
- High resilience in shifting priorities.
- Experience with SQL, HTML, JavaScript, Photoshop a plus.
