Inventory Control Clerk
Maintain accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring inventory transactions are properly recorded. This position supports warehouse, production, purchasing, and shipping operations by tracking inventory movement and helping prevent shortages, overstock situations, and discrepancies.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Cooperating with and following instructions of his/her supervisor.
· Pull W.I.P. parts from inventory and deliver them to the designated work areas.
· To put manufacturing stock parts into the inventory.
· To maintain the integrity of the inventory by counting parts and entering the correct amount into the computer and verifying the counts.
· To pull the stock orders from inventory and bring them to the shipping clerks.
· To put finished goods as well as blanks into the inventory.
· To help teach new personnel these duties.
· Maintain good housekeeping and safety practices.
· To bring items of extraordinary nature to the attention of the supervisor.
Interpersonal/Communication Skills:
· Effective written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities.
· Ability to work as a team member.
*Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
Technical Skills:
· Detailed understanding of Material Handling Practices.
· Understanding basic machining processes.
Education & Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or equivalent or equivalent experience.
Reports to: Logistics Supervisor
Payrate Range:
$24ph (min) - $26ph (max)
