Human Resources Assistant
Job Description
Our client, a biotechnology firm, is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Human Resources/Staffing Assistant to support their Human Resources department. In this position, this candidate will support a busy Human Resources team for a growing company. On a daily basis, the HR/Staffing Assistant will screen candidates, handle scheduling, interface with managers, perform reference checks, and other Human Resources administrative tasks as needed. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources and will be someone who wants to become a key member of a dynamic growing company dedicated to contributing to an amazing culture.

This role is approximately 20 hours/week within standard business hours.

Responsibilities:
\n
· Organize, compile, update company personnel records and documentation
\n
· Assist with recruitment of potential applicants
\n
· Assist in management of requisition lists and processes, online job postings, approval processes and Applicant tracking system
\n
· Be the initial face of the company and have direct interface with a diverse applicant base. Represent the company well in every interaction internally and externally.
\n
· Help organize and manage new employee orientations, on-boarding activities
\n
· Maintain HR filing and documentation as needed
\n
· Assist in explaining and providing information on employee benefits etc.
\n
· Support the HR Director with ad hoc projects including updating and enforcing company policies, managing invoices for the HR team, generating reports, data entry, etc.

· Be a reliable, dedicated, service-oriented team member
\n

Requirements and Qualifications
\n
· Associate or bachelor’s degree in human resources, marketing, or a related field desired. Retail or hospitality experience a plus.
\n
· 1-3 years of human resources experience required.
\n
· Proficient with Microsoft Office & HRIS systems.
\n
· A detail-oriented and adaptable work ethic.
\n
· Excellent communication and organizational skills.
\n
· Ability to multitask and work independently within a team environment.
\n
