Job DescriptionNOW HIRING — LEAD RESTORATION TECHNICIAN
RestoPros of North Boston | North Boston / Middlesex CountyWe are looking for an experienced Lead Restoration Technician to join our growing team.This is not an entry-level position. We need someone who understands the restoration process, takes pride in their work, and can take ownership of mitigation jobs from start to finish.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead water mitigation and restoration projectsPerform demolition and removal of affected materialsSet up, monitor and properly place drying equipmentTake accurate moisture readings and maintain complete dry logsPerform and document daily monitoringHandle mold remediation and antimicrobial applicationsFollow proper containment, HEPA vacuuming and cleaning proceduresTake thorough job photos before, during and after workMaintain excellent documentation for insurance claimsCommunicate professionally with homeowners, insurance adjusters and project managersKeep job sites clean, organized and safeIdentify changes in scope and communicate them promptlyProperly load, transport, clean and maintain equipmentHelp train and oversee other technicians as needed
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of restoration/mitigation experienceIICRC certification required — WRT preferred; ASD and/or AMRT a plusStrong water mitigation and structural drying experienceMold remediation experienceComfortable with demolition and removal of drywall, flooring, insulation, cabinets, etc.Understands moisture mapping, psychrometrics and drying principlesExcellent documentation and photo-taking skillsComfortable working with drying equipment and monitoring progressReliable, organized and able to work independentlyGood communication skills and professional appearanceValid driver's license and clean driving recordAble to lift equipment and perform physical labor when required
