Test Engineer
Based in Billerica, MA, we are an industry leader in advanced thermal management systems, designing and manufacturing compressor-based chillers and cooling solutions for high-performance industrial and regulated markets.
We're seeking a hands-on Test Engineer with strong electrical and electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience to support production, develop automated test systems, and drive reliability and quality across complex equipment platforms.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Support production by troubleshooting electrical and controls issues on manufacturing floor systems
- Design and build electro-mechanical test fixtures and automated/semi-automated test equipment
- Develop and implement test protocols and automated data capture programs for product acceptance testing
- Support qualification and reliability testing including setup, instrumentation selection, and execution
- Develop calibration processes for instrumentation such as pressure transducers and flow meters
- Establish and maintain wiring and crimping programs aligned with IPC-620 standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering
- 7-10 years of hands-on experience in electrical design and troubleshooting
- Experience with PLC programming, LabVIEW, and PID temperature controllers
- Knowledge of electrical safety codes and standards
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude in a manufacturing environment
