Job Description
Job DescriptionElectronic First Responder – 2nd Shift – 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Good money. Good benefits. Minimal bull.
We know you have a lot of options for work these days, so we won’t waste your time. Our only mission is to protect people, their homes, and businesses with electronic security systems and 24-7 monitoring. It’s not rocket science, but it’s damn important.
And by the way, we’ve been at this for 51 years, still family-owned, and the first employee we hired is still with us. That tells you something about how we value people and how our employees value working here.
We have multiple openings for this role at different shifts. Please visit https://www.americanalarm.com/company/careers for more information.
Sign-On Bonus $5,000 full time hires.
Compensation starts up to $22 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Hybrid schedule available.
Today, we are hiring people for our 24-7 Alarm Monitoring Center in Salem, MA, where we monitor security systems, fire alarms, medical alert systems, video surveillance, and other networked systems for homes and businesses across New England.
If you want to feel good about your job because you help people in your community stay safe every day, then please contact us now.
Prior security alarm monitoring experience is not required, because we have a robust paid training program.
In this role, you will work both in our center and, eventually, some days, remotely from home (post-training), handling both routine signals and priority alarms. You will reach out to property owners or dispatch police and firefighters when needed. You will provide direct customer service, including technical assistance to help customers troubleshoot issues.
