We are seeking a Night Dispatcher to play a key role in coordinating deliveries, supporting drivers, and ensuring our nightly operations run efficiently.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate and manage nightly dispatch operations.
- Monitor delivery routes and communicate with drivers throughout their shifts.
- Address issues quickly and proactively to keep deliveries on schedule.
- Troubleshoot equipment and operational challenges as they arise.
- Enter and maintain accurate information in our dispatch and routing systems.
- Collaborate with warehouse, transportation, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Step in to assist with deliveries when business needs require.
What We're Looking For
- Reliable, dependable, and accountable.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to stay calm and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Detail-oriented with solid computer skills.
- Comfortable using spreadsheets and transportation software (Produce Pro experience is a plus).
- Previous dispatch, transportation, logistics, or delivery experience preferred.
- CDL experience is a plus, but not required.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record (fewer than 3 points).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card.
- Ability to work evening and overnight hours.
- Experience in transportation, logistics, dispatching, or related operations preferred.
