Job Description
Title: Electro-Mechanical Assembler (E/M Assembler)
Location: Merrimack, NH (100% Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract (6 Months)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembler to support assembly, testing, troubleshooting, calibration, and validation activities for complex electronic and mechanical assemblies.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience interpreting schematics, performing assembly and troubleshooting activities, and utilizing electronic test equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembly & Integration
- Build assemblies from:
- Drawings
- Schematics
- Technical Manuals
- Written Instructions
- Perform electro-mechanical assembly and repair activities
- Support prototype and production assembly efforts
- Perform soldering and rework as required
- Testing & Troubleshooting
- Utilize test equipment including:
- Multimeters
- Oscilloscopes
- Signal Generators
- Perform:
- Functional Testing
- Operational Testing
- Alignment
- Calibration
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic and mechanical assemblies
- Replace defective components as required
- Data Collection & Documentation
- Record and analyze test data
- Verify compliance to specifications
- Prepare technical documentation and reports
- Establish test procedures and data collection sheets
- Manufacturing Support
- Support transition of new products into manufacturing
- Collaborate with:
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Quality
- Engineering Teams
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide technical guidance to team members when needed
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in:
- Electronics Technology
- Electrical Technology
- Engineering Technology
- OR
- Equivalent military or industry experience
- 3–5 years of related experience
- Experience with:
- Electro-Mechanical Assembly
- Troubleshooting
- Calibration
- Testing
- Experience using:
- Multimeters
- Oscilloscopes
- Signal Generators
- Ability to read:
- Schematics
- Drawings
- Technical Documentation
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Strong technical communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Aerospace or Defense industry experience
- IPC soldering experience
- Electronics troubleshooting experience
- Test software experience
- Manufacturing test environment experience
- Calibration experience
- Prototype assembly experience
Compensation
- $35–37/hr W2
- Duration: 6 Months
- Schedule: First Shift 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Location: Merrimack, NH 100% Onsite
