Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Veterinarian to join its clinical leadership team. This role combines high‑quality medical practice with opportunities to mentor veterinarians, influence hospital standards, and support operational growth as the practice expands its services.

Compensation: $151,000-$180,000 + Bonus


Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and advanced soft‑tissue surgeries and dental procedures.
  • Contribute to a positive, team‑oriented culture for staff, clients, and patients.
  • Participate in continuing education and help elevate clinical protocols and best practices.
  • Serve as a clinical leader by mentoring associate veterinarians and supporting medical standards.
  • Partner with hospital leadership to maintain high-quality patient care, efficient workflows, and operational excellence.
  • Support client communication excellence through clear, compassionate discussions of diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Provide advanced medical and surgical care for dogs and cats, including diagnostics, treatment planning, and case management.

Qualifications (Must-Haves)

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from an accredited institution.
  • 5+ years of clinical experience in a small‑animal veterinary hospital.
  • Excellent communication, time‑management, and client‑service skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor, collaborate, and support hospital standards.
  • Strong surgical and dental proficiency, including routine soft‑tissue procedures.
  • Eligible for Massachusetts veterinary licensure (active license or clear path to obtain one)

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in a multi‑doctor or high‑volume practice.
  • Prior leadership, mentorship, or medical oversight responsibilities.
  • Interest in long‑term growth into operational or medical leadership roles.
  • Experience supporting hospital expansion or schedule changes (e.g., extended hours or 7‑day operations)
