We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Kitchen Appliance / Refrigeration Technician to join our team and help keep Vermont’s kitchens running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain hot-side and cold-side commercial kitchen equipment (walk-ins, reach-ins, dishwashers, ovens, ranges, steamers, mixers, grinders, slicers, etc.)
  
  
• Perform preventive maintenance and warranty work for leading manufacturers
  
  
• Troubleshoot refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
  
  
• Communicate clearly with customers and dispatch, document work thoroughly, and represent KC Mechanical professionally
  
  
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure efficient, high-quality service
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in commercial kitchen appliance repair and/or refrigeration
  (More experienced technicians strongly encouraged to apply — compensation reflects experience)
  
  
• EPA Certification (preferred) and strong refrigeration troubleshooting ability
  
  
• Experience with mixers, grinders, slicers, and similar equipment a plus
  
  
• Working knowledge of electrical or plumbing systems
  
  
• Customer-focused mindset, professional communication, and strong problem-solving skills
  
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  
  
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
