We’re partnered with New Hampshire Ball Bearings, a global precision machining manufacturer, to find a Junior Quality Engineer or recent graduate to support key projects, enhance legacy processes and drive improvements across the Quality Department.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer looking to develop their knowledge of aerospace quality standards, manufacturing processes, inspection, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
\n
\n
Working closely with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations, you will help ensure that products and processes meet the high levels of safety, quality, traceability, and compliance expected within the aerospace industry.
\n
\n
Responsibilities of the Junior Quality Engineer:
\n
- \n
- Understanding of Quality Management System Standards: AS9100, ISO 9001, and ISO 9000
- AS9102 First Article Inspection using DISCUS/Net Inspect.
- Investigating Root Causes and Implementing Corrective Actions: Employing methods such as Apollo Root Cause Analysis, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Five Whys, Ishikawa (Fishbone) Diagram, and various Problem-Solving Methodologies/Techniques like 8D and DMAIC.
- Utilizing Six Sigma, Lean principles, and tools like Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Conduct audits to assess compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.
- Reading and Interpreting engineering drawings, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

Requirements of the Junior Quality Engineer:

- Aerospace & Defense experience is a bonus, but not essential.
- A bachelor’s degree in manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering
