Position Overview
IPSUMM is seeking a proactive, organized, and people-centered HR Generalist to support our team and leadership. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building structure, improving processes, and working closely with both management and employees in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
You’ll play a key role in supporting recruiting, compliance, onboarding, and employee engagement — helping ensure our internal operations are as strong as our external projects.
Key Responsibilities

Manage recruiting efforts (job postings, screening, interview coordination)

Lead onboarding and offboarding processes

Maintain employee files and HR documentation in compliance with federal and state regulations

Perform payroll and benefits administration

Support performance review processes and KPI tracking

Provide guidance to managers on HR policies and best practices

Ensure compliance with employment laws and workplace standards

Help develop scalable HR systems to support company growth
Qualifications

3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role

Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR compliance

Experience with HRIS and payroll systems

Excellent organizational and communication skills

High level of professionalism and confidentiality

SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
