About the Role
Italian Kitchen of Brockton is looking for an experienced, hands-on Restaurant Operations Manager to help lead our day-to-day operation.
Reporting to the General Manager, this role is a key leader across both the front and back of house, with a strong focus on team leadership, kitchen execution, food quality, cost control, and guest experience.
This is not an office-only position. We’re looking for someone who is visible, involved, comfortable jumping in when needed, and capable of independently leading the operation while supporting the General Manager.
What You’ll Do
- Lead daily FOH and BOH operations
- Train, coach, schedule, and develop employees
- Maintain food quality, consistency, cleanliness, and safety standards
- Oversee prep, production, inventory, ordering, and waste
- Monitor and manage labor and food costs
- Hold employees accountable for performance and restaurant standards
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance management
- Ensure opening, closing, and operating procedures are followed
- Resolve guest and operational issues quickly and professionally
- Support the team during busy periods while maintaining leadership of the overall operation
- Serve as a key operational leader in the General Manager’s absence
What We’re Looking For
- Restaurant management experience
- Strong kitchen/culinary experience
- Experience leading both FOH and BOH teams
- Knowledge of labor, food cost, scheduling, inventory, and ordering
- Strong coaching and employee-development skills
- Solid food safety and sanitation knowledge
- Organized, dependable, and strong with follow-through
- Excellent problem-solving and guest-service skills
- Availability for nights and weekends as business needs require
