From our 8 blending locations and multiple shipping locations, we serve a wide variety of customer markets including distributors, co-ops, and retailers throughout the United States and internationally. Spring Valley became a part of the Interoceanic (IOC) family of companies in 2022. Our company continues to grow and expand, which presents many new opportunities. Our Hatfield, MA plant is eagerly seeking a Raw Material Unloader to join our team!


Responsibilities include:

  • Ability to unload railcars in a safe and timely manner
  • Maintain accurate and current unloading information including weights and quantities
  • Follow SOP's for all record samples and sieve test taken before unloading railcar
  • Complete general maintenance of unloading system
  • Ability to operate powered industrial equipment such as front end loaders and forklifts in accordance with safety policies and OSHA standards
  • Safely move railcars in and around plant
  • Visually inspect railcars and ensure all safety protocols are followed in the unloading system

Pay & Perks:

  • $20.00-$25.00+ per hour starting pay based on experience.

Requirements:

Successful team members will have:

  • Excellent communication and organization in a fast paced production environment.
  • Previous experience and comfortability in forklift operation, including stacking pallets 2-3 high is a plus!
  • Ability to follow written & verbal instructions
  • Willingness to support continuous improvement initiatives
  • The ability to keep accurate records and follow procedures
  • Pass a post-offer drug screen
  • Reliable transportation to get to and from work
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently
