We are hiring a Production Manager to join the team in Rowley, MA.

Position Summary:

The Production Manager will be responsible for managing production schedules, ensuring product quality, optimizing processes, and leading a team to meet productivity and safety goals.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and control manufacturing processes to ensure products are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Lead weekly production meetings, escalate roadblocks, and support problem-solving on each project.
  • Oversee daily production operations and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Monitor production metrics (e.g., efficiency, quality, downtime) and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Lead, train, and evaluate production staff; promote a culture of accountability and teamwork.
  • Collaborate with planning, quality assurance, logistics, and maintenance departments.
  • Manage inventory and raw material supply to minimize downtime.
  • Identify workflow issues and implement corrective measures.
  • Maintain accurate production reports and documentation.
  • Assist in budgeting and cost control strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Production Manager or in a similar leadership role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, lean manufacturing, and quality control principles.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing software (e.g., ERP, MRP systems).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification.
  • Working knowledge of ISO standards.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Work in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise and variable temperatures.
