We are looking for a dedicated Loan Servicing Specialist to join our team in Quincy, MA. In this role, you will handle a variety of responsibilities related to mortgage and consumer loans, ensuring all processes align with credit union policies and regulatory requirements. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in loan servicing who is seeking a Long-term Contract position in the banking industry.


Responsibilities:

• Process applications for consumer and mortgage loans efficiently while ensuring compliance with established policies.

• Prepare loan documentation with attention to accuracy and completeness to support smooth loan closings.

• Coordinate loan closings and maintain detailed records of loan transactions and servicing activities.

• Monitor and update tracking logs to ensure loan data is current and accessible.

• Ensure compliance with federal regulations, state laws, and credit union policies throughout all loan servicing operations.

• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and providing clear communication to borrowers.

• Conduct regular audits of loan files to verify accuracy and adherence to compliance standards.

• Collaborate with team members to improve workflows and resolve any issues related to loan servicing.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of credit union systems and industry regulations.

• Support ongoing updates and improvements to loan processes to enhance efficiency.

• At least one year of experience in loan servicing or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
• Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• High school diploma or equivalent education required.
• Solid understanding of banking or credit union systems and associated regulations.
• Familiarity with consumer loan and mortgage servicing processes.
• Ability to adapt to changes and work collaboratively within a team environment.
