Logistics / Shipping Manager
Burlington / Colchester, VT Area
I'm partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization to identify a hands-on Logistics/Shipping Manager to lead shipping, receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations across multiple facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.
- Manage logistics activities across two locations while ensuring efficient material flow.
- Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, customs, and internal teams to support domestic and international shipments.
- Lead, coach, develop, and mentor warehouse and shipping personnel.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery.
- Help manage budgets, inventory accuracy, warehouse layout, and operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with applicable shipping, transportation, and warehouse regulations.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of logistics, shipping, warehouse, or supply chain leadership experience.
- Experience with import/export documentation and international shipping.
- Strong knowledge of transportation, distribution, inventory management, and ERP systems.
- Proven ability to lead teams, improve processes, and drive operational results.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
