Description/Summary

Under the general direction of the Manufacturing Supervisor, this position is responsible for testing manufactured pieces based on specific PSI and time limits as outlined by our customers to ensure quality standards. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and with reasonable accommodation when necessary.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs visual and dimensional checks on materials, assemblies, tube details, components and finished products.
  • Inspect and test components, parts, tube details, and assemblies to validate conformance to blue prints and instructions by customer and to company operating
  • Determines appropriate fittings (feeds and caps) to perform the test
  • Lifts, positions, connects, disconnects, and removes work pieces from pressure test tank
  • Performs testing based on specific PSI and time limits as outlined by our customers to ensure quality standards
  • Utilize tank interlocks and all safety mechanisms
  • Observe test, inspect for bubble formation, seepage, or water droplets
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.

  • Attend all meetings and trainings as scheduled


Requirements:

Education, Certifications, Licenses, & Registrations

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Experience Levels

Operator I – Able to complete the function of their designated product line

Operator II – Able to complete functions for all product lines, including skydrol

Operator III – Able to complete functions for all lines and is designated trainer
