We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive First Article Inspector to join our team in Lowell, MA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products before they hit the production line. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of first articles to verify compliance with specifications and standards.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records for quality assurance purposes.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address any discrepancies or issues found during inspections.
- Provide feedback and recommendations for process improvements based on inspection findings.
- Assist in the development and implementation of inspection protocols and procedures.
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices related to quality assurance and inspection.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in quality assurance is a plus.
- Proven experience in inspection or quality control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify defects or non-conformities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with inspection tools and measurement equipment.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
