Responsibilities:
• Manage all core accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support organizational goals.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
• Streamline accounting workflows and optimize system usage for efficiency.
• Collaborate with leadership and operational teams to align financial strategies with business objectives.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to the accounting team, fostering growth and development.
• Monitor and enhance financial processes to support organizational changes and future growth.
• Act as a key resource for financial decision-making and strategic planning.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in accounting roles.
• Proficiency in financial systems and tools, with specific experience in systems.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Previous experience in industries such as retail, apparel, wholesale, or distribution is preferred.
• Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with teams and leadership.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on role with potential for leadership growth.
