The Lead HVAC Service Technician is responsible for executing field service activities, including preventative maintenance, inspections, start-ups, and emergency repairs, to ensure systems operate safely and efficiently according to design specifications and customer requirements. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, adherence to safety standards, and effective customer communication to manage expectations and ensure satisfaction.
This role also serves as the primary point of communication between the Project Manager and the customer regarding scheduled work, progress updates, and day-to-day field operations. This position is responsible for keeping work on track to meet contractual deadlines and promptly identifying and communicating when additional time, resources, or corrective measures are needed.
Work Experience
- Two (2) years of field experience.
- Two (2) years of experience as a Lead Technician.
- Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and generators, respond to emergency service calls, and commission new systems.
- Strong communication skills to keep the Project Manager and customer informed of scheduled work, progress, and day-to-day operations.
- Ability to coordinate daily field activities and ensure work meets contractual deadlines.
- Ability to identify potential delays and promptly communicate when additional time, resources, or corrective measures are needed.
- Commitment to safe work practices, quality service, and customer satisfaction.
