-Allen Bradley Rockwell-Food or pharma manufacturing preferred-Must be able to travel 25%-Bonus 13%-Manager is not onsite at this location. Need someone that can self direct. Manager will support remotely. -Couple weeks in Indiana to train if needed.-Supporting manufacturing, MES = Ignition (hiring manager is really preferring someone with Ignition)- WAN/LAN network understanding
Manufacturing Systems Controls Design and Support.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES **include the following.
-
Development, integration, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment controls systems, manufacturing systems automation, human-machine interfaces, and industrial communications networks under the direction of senior corporate engineers and integrators- Experience with some of the following is strongly desired:- Rockwell RSLogix 5, 500, 5000, Studio - Rockwell RS View, Factory Talk Studio - Wonderware System Platform, InTouch, InBatch and Historian - Rockwell PowerFlex Variable Frequency Drives - Rockwell Point IO and Flex IO systems
- Exposure and understanding of the following is beneficial:- Industrial flow meters, temperature probes, level sensors, photoeyes, and solenoid valves
- Microsoft SQL
- AutoCAD
- VMWare Workstation Player and vSphere
- Programming (C++, Visual Basic, Java, Python, etc.)
- Cisco networking hardware
- Exposure and understanding of the following is beneficial:- Industrial flow meters, temperature probes, level sensors, photoeyes, and solenoid valves

Must be available to travel to all Facilities to assist with project work and start-ups.

Work with site Control Technicians for troubleshooting, training, and start-ups

Develop and foster strong relationships with Plant Operation team to evolve current systems architecture and maximize manufacturing efficiencies and output.

Support local Operations needs for electrical and automation system support.

Create written instructions for local Maintenance department for automation systems

Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to fly on commercial aircraft.

REQUIRED SKILLS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good understanding of industrial automation programming concepts
- Strong understanding of electrical concepts and theories
- Understanding of computer WAN and LAN networks
- Interaction with plant personnel, both hourly and salary.
- Customer focused personality and approach
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems
- Ability to work and manage time independently
- Ability to troubleshoot problems quickly and effectively
