Job Description
Job Description
Teachers and school staff are good at explaining hard things clearly. This 100% remote, 1099 independent-contractor life insurance sales role applies that skill to families who requested coverage information, on a schedule you manage.
What you'll actually do
- Meet by phone or video with people who've already asked about life insurance
- Start by listening to the family's situation, goals, and worries
- Break coverage options into plain language, then complete the application together
- Follow each application through underwriting and keep families informed
- Record notes and next steps in the CRM
- Keep learning, because products and rules change and training continues
Who this is a fit for
- Experience teaching, coaching, or working in a school setting
- A gift for explaining complicated ideas without talking down to anyone
- Comfortable planning your own schedule instead of following a bell
- A state life insurance license, or a plan to get licensed before your first sale
- Willing to learn a new regulated field from the ground up
- At least 18 and legally authorized to work in the United States
What we provide
- We walk new agents through the licensing process, even with no insurance background
- Contracts with 43 carriers, so you can match each family to coverage that fits
- Access to exclusive lead systems, so your conversations start with people who asked first
- Mentorship straight from Ben and Andrea, the people who run the agency
- Weekly team calls, call reviews, and scripts available to agents
The honest part
Compensation: paid under an independent contractor (1099) contract. If you want the built-in structure of a school calendar, this isn't the right fit. Apply through this listing; questions: (928) 889-6338.
