Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Representative to join our team. This is a key position responsible for bringing in new business, developing customer relationships, and providing competitive quotes. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, solid machining knowledge, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the machining and manufacturing sector
- Prepare and deliver accurate and timely price quotes
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction
- Track sales activities and maintain customer records using computer systems
- Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics
Requirements
- Experience in sales for machine shops or the machining industry is required
- Strong understanding of machining processes, terminology, and capabilities
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Proficient computer skills (CRM, quoting software, email, spreadsheets, etc.)
- Highly motivated, self-driven, and results-oriented
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Hours:
Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm
The salary is up to $75K a year based on experience
