Einsteins Solutions, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and dependable Commercial Irrigation Technician to maintain, install, and troubleshoot complex irrigation systems across our commercial properties. In this role, you will be the technical expert ensuring that our irrigation systems operate at peak efficiency to support healthy landscapes and sustainable water use.

This position requires hands-on technical work, heavy equipment operation, and the ability to read complex system layouts. What You Will Be Doing

You will be the vital link between our landscape designs and their long-term health, managing water systems from the ground up:

• System Diagnostics & Repair: Expertly diagnose system issues and perform precise repairs to complex valves, heads, piping, and electronic controllers.
• Installation & Layout: Lay out and install commercial irrigation systems strictly according to architectural design plans and specifications.
• Equipment Operation: Safely and effectively operate heavy irrigation equipment, including Ditch Witch pipe pullers, mini excavators, trenchers, compactors, and augers. Conduct daily safety and operational checks on all machinery.
• Project Administration: Maintain accurate job records, reports, and labor documentation. Order necessary irrigation parts/supplies, manage returns, track expenses, and maintain receipts.
• Site Coordination & Client Relations: Communicate professionally with customers regarding job site status and project progress. Assist with installations alongside team members.
• Leadership & Safety: Assist in training irrigation crew members on proper procedures and safe equipment use. Strictly follow all company policies, wear required PPE, and participate in regular safety meetings.

What You Need to Succeed (Qualifications)

• Experience: 24 years of proven experience in irrigation, commercial landscaping, grounds maintenance, or a related field.
• Technical Mastery: Strong mechanical aptitude, advanced troubleshooting ability, and deep experience installing and maintaining irrigation systems.
• Blueprint Reading: The proven ability to accurately read and interpret complex irrigation system layouts and technical documentation.
• Heavy Equipment Skills: Familiarity with operating heavy equipment such as Ditch Witch machines, pipe pullers, mini excavators, trenchers, and compaction equipment.
• Physical Capabilities: The physical strength to lift and move up to 100 pounds, and the ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, and crouch outdoors in varying New England weather conditions.
• Licensure & Education: A valid Drivers License is strictly required. High school diploma or GED required. (A valid DOT Card and Backflow Certification are highly preferred!)
