Job Title: Electronic Tester
Pay rate: $19.50- $21.50/hr (can be more depending on experience)
Schedule: 3:00 pm-11:30 pm | Training on 1st shift
Employment type: Temp-to-hire

Job Description

The Electronic Tester will work on the production test floor, testing assigned products using manual and automated test equipment, electro-mechanical handlers, and related documentation in accordance with product requirements.

Essential Job Functions

  • Set up test equipment and perform electrical testing of semiconductors in a fast-paced production environment, per work instructions

  • Perform counting and visual inspections of devices

  • Assist with and complete engineering work orders

  • Use basic computer skills to identify and record pass/fail parameters in Camstar, the internal application used to track production lot transactions

Other Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

  • Refill nitrogen tanks as needed

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

  • 1–2 years of experience in a related field preferred

  • General knowledge of microscope use and handling semiconductors is a plus

Skills and Competencies

  • Basic mechanical knowledge (e.g., use of hand tools)

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Fast learner, proactive, and able to work independently under pressure

  • Ability to read and write in English; basic math skills

  • Adaptable, with patience during training

  • Strong communication skills; not afraid to ask questions

  • Requires close attention to detail

  • Requires color perception and clear vision (with or without corrective lenses)

  • Frequent interaction with others and equipment monitoring

Physical Requirements

  • Light to medium physical work

  • Occasionally exert up to 50 lbs of force

  • Frequent standing, occasional walking

  • Occasional bending, twisting, reaching (above/below shoulder)

  • Power grasping and manipulation with both hands

  • Pushing and pulling with both hands, including machinery possibly over 100 lbs

  • Moderate use of keyboard

  • Lifting and carrying items up to 50 lbs

  • Job may require endurance of up to 5–6 hours without a break
