Job Description

Our manufacturing client located in Southwick, MA is looking for a CMM Programmer/Operator on a temporary basis as soon as possible. This would be a 3-4 month long engagement with a first shift Mon-Fri traditional office hours schedule of 7am-3:30pm.

Requirements:

Ability to work well with others
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Able to handle and follow instruction
High school diploma or equivalent
5 Years of CMM Programmer/Operator experience
Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds

Responsibilities Include:

Interprets ballooned customer drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerance, and purchase order requirements
Utilizes Zeiss Calypso software to create programs, including documented set up instructions for First Piece, In-Process and Final Inspection
Operates Zeiss CMM to run previously proven programs for First Piece, In-Process and Final Inspection
Works with Machine Operators, Programming, Quality Lead, and Management in order to produce acceptable product
Correlates CMM inspection data with hand inspection tools and/or plate inspections including micrometers, indicators, height gages, etc.
Operates within AS9100/ISO9001 requirements to include proper documentation, revision control, traceability and lot control
Performs other duties as assigned
