Stark Products is seeking a Lead Mechanical/Engineering Drafter to become part of our team.
Responsibilities:
- Strong drafting skills using Autodesk Inventor is a must. (knowledge of parametric design)
- Produce detailed technical drawings, plans, schematics, and 3D models from rough sketches, notes, and specifications provided by engineers and architects.
- Determine and specify exact dimensions, materials, and manufacturing procedures for projects.
- Balance multiple tasks, prioritize work, and manage time effectively to ensure drawings are completed accurately within required deadlines.
- Prepare various technical documents, manuals, and reports that describe product features, operations, and maintenance procedures.
- Modify existing product designs and drawings to incorporate new features, changes, or different physical appearances as needed.
- Manage and maintain extensive product data, engineering drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) within Autodesk Vault, ensuring efficient version control and traceability.
- Collaborate with production and purchasing teams to create manufacturing documentation, including detailed drawings, specifications, and part lists.
- Assist in developing and refining complex assemblies, ensuring proper fit, function, and manufacturability.
