Shift: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM

A Day in the Life

Start your morning reviewing blueprints and work instructions for the day’s high-volume metal trim components. You’ll set up your workstation, load and unload parts, and run CNC horizontal turning lathes while closely monitoring cycle performance. Throughout the shift, you’ll verify dimensions with precision instruments, make on-the-fly adjustments to keep parts in spec, and document results to meet quality and productivity targets. When issues arise, you’ll perform basic troubleshooting and communicate promptly to keep production flowing. You’ll wrap up by maintaining a safe, orderly work area and contributing ideas that improve throughput and consistency.

What You’ll Do

• Operate CNC horizontal turning lathes to manufacture precision metal components at production volumes.
• Maintain accuracy and output goals by monitoring machines, adjusting offsets, and managing tooling as needed.
• Load raw parts and unload finished pieces efficiently and safely.
• Inspect parts with measuring tools to confirm they meet specifications and quality standards.
• Read and interpret prints, work instructions, and process documentation.
• Troubleshoot basic issues and escalate equipment or process problems effectively.
• Keep your area clean and safe while following company procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement to enhance productivity and quality.

What You Bring

• Hands-on experience operating CNC lathes or CNC turning centers.
• Background in high-volume manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of CNC operation, tooling, and common inspection methods.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring equipment.
• CNC setup experience strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and quality mindset.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with the team.

Schedule & Path to Hire

• 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
• Contract-to-Hire: 90 days
• Potential for permanent placement based on performance and business needs
