Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED
- Prior work experience preferred working in or around heavy equipment, construction or asphalt
- Basic mechanical and construction knowledge and skills
- Proven safety record
- Bilingual Spanish/English a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, equipment operation, grounds and housekeeping tasks
- Ensure paving housekeeping is maintained and that equipment is running properly
- Assist foremen with all tasks as needed, follow instructions and perform duties as assigned
- Safely operate equipment and perform mechanic and general labor duties
- Maintain an effective system of communications with supervisors, drivers and crew, peers, operators, and customers serviced
