Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description
General production workers will be assigned to a department based on their skill sets, including wood cut, wood assembly, material handling, corrugated, pulp, dock work, foam assembly, and foam cut. The position involves using hand and power tools for production and assembly to create various types of crates and packaging for different industries.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to the company safety and quality policies at all times.
- Follow established ISO work instructions as applicable.
- Complete assigned manufacturing tasks using specified equipment in the allotted time.
- Oversee materials to minimize scrap and waste.
- Process scrap material for recycling.
- Maintain work area and equipment according to established 5S standards at all times.
- Operate equipment according to manufacturers guidelines.
- Report safety and quality issues along with any maintenance needs to supervisor.
- Participate in established cross-training initiatives in other areas to support business goals and objectives.
Essential Skills
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and read/write short correspondence.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
- Must be able to read a tape measure.
- Must be comfortable using hand and power tools.

- Shop math.
- Blueprint reading.

Work Environment
The work environment is very clean and well-kept. It can be a bit loud, but not excessively so, with no unpleasant smells. The facility is temperature-controlled. Available shifts include: 1st shift from 6am-2:30pm, 2nd shift from 2:30pm-11pm, and 3rd shift from 10:30pm-7am.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sutton, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.50/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
