About the Role:
We are seeking an Assembler is responsible for assembling components and subassemblies according to work instructions, drawings, and quality standards. This role ensures products meet company specifications, safety requirements, and customer expectations. The Assembler plays a critical role in maintaining production flow, accuracy, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret work orders and assembly instructions.
- Assemble parts and subassemblies using hand tools, fixtures, jigs, and light machinery (e.g., arbor presses, small pneumatic or hydraulic presses).
- Inspect completed parts to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of production, including counts, scrap, and time.
- Report defective parts, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules and targets.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
Qualifications/ Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required);
- Prior experience in manufacturing or assembly preferred.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions, diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in assembly work.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
- Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Basic computer/data entry skills (for production recording).

Working Conditions/ Physical Requirements:
- Manufacturing floor environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and moving parts.
- Requires wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.
- May involve standing for long periods and repetitive tasks.
- Overtime or weekend work may be required based on production needs.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
- Good vision (with or without corrective lenses) for close-up assembly work.
- Manual dexterity and steady hands for handling small parts.
