POSITION OVERVIEW: 

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior FP&A Analyst to support strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis for Syner-G. The ideal candidate will translate complex financial data into actionable insights to drive business decisions and improve financial performance. This role requires a strong understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and business operations, along with excellent communication skills to present findings to senior leadership.

WORK LOCATION:

The Senior Accountant position is eligible for hybrid work with in-office requirement at Syner-G's Framingham, MA office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, maintain, and analyze financial models to support business planning, forecasting, and decision-making.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and variance analysis for senior leadership.
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with company goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and provide insights on business performance.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and recommend actionable strategies to drive financial performance.
  • Support strategic initiatives such as new product launches, cost reduction programs, and investment analyses.
  • Ensure financial data integrity and compliance with corporate policies and accounting standards.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested by senior management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • 4–6+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, corporate finance, or related roles.
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Ability to work independently and problem solve proactively.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment; strong collaborator and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong time management skills: ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, to manage multiple tasks concurrently, adapt to changing priorities, and to meet deadlines.
  • Flexible and willing to take on unfamiliar tasks.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with high attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
