Bark & Mane Arlington (formerly Aussie Pet Mobile Arlington) is looking to hire a full-time mobile groomer to join our team. This position us flexible depending on needs, but currently we are looking for someone for a Monday/Wed/Thurs/Saturday schedule for approximately 45 hours/week. Applicants without any professional pet care experience will not be considered, and priority will be given to applicants with grooming experience. In the event that the position is filled, we are interested in keeping a small pool of qualified and interested applicants on file to meet future needs; and you will be given that option if mutually desired.

We service Arlington, Belmont, parts of Cambridge, Lexington, Lincoln, Medford, Waltham, Watertown, and Winchester. Some professional pet care experience required of successful applicants, such as:
• dog or cat grooming/ bathing
• dog training
• pet care and dog walking
• vet technician

Preferred experience would include at least some of the following: nail trimming; dog bathing; cat brushing; dog brushing; dog or cat dematting; dog or cat grooming. Applicants without professional pet care experience of some sort will not be considered.

Qualifications

• first-rate customer service skills
• high degree of professionalism and integrity
• experience with animals
• punctuality and conscientiousness
• clean driving record and current driver's license; must have 3+ years of driving experience and be deemed insurable
• must be 21 years of age or older
• must be able to work with both dogs and cats and have transportation to and from our Waltham garage for 9am start time
• position is about 45-50 hours per week, W-2 employee
• work 4 days per week: Monday/Tues/Thurs/Friday; Mon/Wed/Th/Sat; or Tues/Wed/Friday/Saturday.
• must be able to work stated days
