We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented team member to support kitchen operations by ensuring dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and organized efficiently. This role plays an important part in maintaining a safe, sanitary, and well-stocked kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment
- Operate dishwashing machines and follow proper cleaning procedures
- Sort, stack, and store cleaned items in designated areas
- Maintain cleanliness of dish area, sinks, floors, and kitchen workspaces
- Remove trash, recycling, and food waste as needed
- Assist with light food prep or kitchen support tasks when requested
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Report equipment issues or supply needs to the appropriate team member
Qualifications
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to cleanliness and organization
- Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate-weight items as needed
- Comfortable working as part of a team
- Previous kitchen or cleaning experience is helpful, but not required
