Job Description

This position involves operating a computer-based laser machining work center, where the primary responsibility is to laser process components following instructions in the form of drawings, written, or verbal directions. The role requires familiarity with procedures and direct supervision is provided. The position is part of a team, emphasizing the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks related to customer-specific process requirements with simple to medium complexity.
  • Comprehend documentation requirements.
  • Verify system conditions or equipment status before operation.
  • Inspect components to ensure specifications are met.
  • Enter data as required.
  • Train other employees on production processes or equipment usage as requested by the Supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Follow instructions of the Supervisor and/or Production Manager and conduct all work according to policy and safe labor practices.
  • Use laser radiation (non-ionizing) sources safely, considering various wavelengths for personal protection.
  • Conduct oneself in a professional manner and maintain high standards of conduct and job performance.
  • Clean and process parts in the clean room area as required per specification.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a clean room setting with operations conducted during the 2nd shift from 3 PM to 11 PM. Safety is a priority, particularly when using laser radiation sources, ensuring protection for all employees and visitors.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashua, NH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
