Description:

We are seeking an Electronics Assembly Technician I to join our team in Andover, MA. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on electronics or electro-mechanical assembly experience who is looking to build their skills and grow into a long-term position.

In this role, you will assemble and test electronic hardware, sub-assemblies, and finished products. You'll work from detailed wiring diagrams, drawings, parts lists, and work instructions while using a variety of hand tools, power tools, meters, and measuring equipment.

What You'll Do

  • Assemble electronic and electro-mechanical hardware using hand and power tools
  • Assemble individual components, sub-assemblies, and completed products
  • Perform testing and calibration of electronic assemblies using meters and other measuring devices
  • Read and follow wiring diagrams, drawings, parts lists, cable diagrams, and detailed work instructions
  • Perform precision cleaning and preparation of components prior to assembly or use
  • Inspect completed assemblies and verify they meet established testing and quality requirements
  • Hand solder and wire electrical components as needed
  • Crimp wires and electrical connections
  • Maintain accurate and organized work areas
  • Follow established workmanship, testing, and quality procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace to support safety and production efficiency

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma plus relevant electronics training/certificate, or 2+ years of relevant electronics assembly experience
  • Hands-on electro-mechanical assembly experience
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, parts lists, and cable diagrams
  • Ability to follow detailed written work instructions and procedures
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work carefully and accurately in a hands-on production environment

Preferred:

  • 1–3 years of GMP/GLP experience
  • Experience with hand soldering and electrical wiring
  • Experience with wire crimping
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
  • Self-motivated and dependable work style
  • Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, bend, kneel, and squat as needed
  • Ability to remain stationary and perform detailed work for extended periods
  • Strong fine-motor skills and visual attention to detail
  • Ability to visually inspect components and assemblies for defects
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret technical information
  • Occasional exposure to compressed air
