Position: Manufacturing Engineer – 1st Shift
Location: Seabrook, NH
Reports to: Director of Engineering
Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving manufacturing processes that meet customer requirements, and create a positive cash flow for the business. Ensuring the process and product safety and quality outputs. Additionally, the role requires to work directly with the operations, sales, and quality departments, along with communicating with customers and suppliers.
Essential Job Functions: including but not limited to
- Design, maintain, and improve manufacturing processes, so that they are cost effective, and comply with the safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee and coordinate process development activity for new products and production lines (including Advanced Product Quality Planning [APQP]).
- Design fixtures, plant layouts, and identify capital equipment for new products or process improvements.
- Provide technical support and training to operations. Learning and maintaining understanding of CNC machine operations.
- Data analysis to identify and implement initiatives for cost reductions, cycle time improvements, and cost of quality savings.
- Lead and support Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and process compliance to AS9100, ISO 13485, ISO 9001, and customer specifications.
Requirements:
- Engineering Drawing Creation and Comprehension (Y14.5 GD&T Preferred)
- CAD Modeling (SolidWorks Preferred)
- CAM Programing Preferred (Esprit)
- CNC Machine Operation Preferred
- Data Analysis and Reporting
- Statistical Familiarity
- B.S. in Engineering or Equivalent
- U.S Citizenship
