Job DescriptionPosition Overview
We are seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead workplace safety, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
This role requires a hands-on safety leader who can influence performance across all levels of the organization while maintaining strong compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or another technical discipline preferred
- 3–5 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead EHS programs and influence safety performance throughout an organization
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and applicable state and federal regulations
- Experience leading regulatory audits and environmental compliance programs
- Experience developing or managing safety management systems
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies
- Knowledge and experience with behavior-based safety programs
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional safety or environmental certifications such as:
- CSP – Certified Safety Professional
- ASP – Associate Safety Professional
- CHMM – Certified Hazardous Materials Manager
- Equivalent professional certification
- Previous experience in food manufacturing, dairy processing, or another regulated manufacturing environment
