Summary of Responsibilities:
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a key role in delivering exceptional service to customers by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Functions:
Customer Support & Communication
- Serve as the point of contact for customers via phone, email, chat, and in-person interactions.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, providing accurate information and effective solutions.
- Listen actively to understand customer needs and concerns, ensuring a positive customer experience.
Issue Resolution
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues with patience, efficiency, and clarity.
- Escalate complex or unresolved matters to appropriate teams or supervisors as needed.
- Document customer interactions, service issues, and resolutions accurately in the system.
Order & Account Management
- Enter and manage customer orders to ensure accuracy and timely processing of all orders. Revise and update orders as needed to reflect customer requirements.
- Verify customer information and maintain confidentiality in compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as production and logistics to ensure customers are informed about product availability and shipping timelines.
Administrative & Support Tasks
- Maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation related to customer interactions.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely resolution of customer concerns.
- Provide feedback on common issues to help improve processes and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous customer service experience in a call center, retail, or office environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in standard office software and basic computer applications.
Physical Demands:
- Long periods of work that primarily involve sitting.
- Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds
