Position Summary
A large-scale enterprise transformation program is seeking an experienced Organizational Change Management (OCM) Specialist to support critical readiness and alignment initiatives for a major program rollout.
This is a high-impact temporary role focused on maintaining project momentum by aligning key workstreams including Training, Communications, Readiness, and Support. The selected candidate will serve as a bridge between current operational processes and future-state program requirements, ensuring stakeholder alignment, operational readiness, and successful adoption strategies.
The ideal candidate will possess strong OCM expertise, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to quickly integrate into a complex project environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the current progress of Training, Communications, Readiness, and Support workstreams to ensure alignment with the overall project roadmap
- Identify adoption risks, operational gaps, and readiness concerns that may impact upcoming rollout activities
- Develop and support mitigation strategies to address identified risks and performance issues
- Maintain strong working relationships with agency leaders, project stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
- Ensure stakeholders remain informed, engaged, and prepared for upcoming project phases
- Oversee preparation and completion of critical readiness materials including:
- User readiness assessments
- Support model planning
- Transition documentation
- Lead and coordinate multiple cross-functional teams including internal staff and vendor resources
- Monitor weekly deliverables and ensure alignment with PMO milestones and project timelines
- Prepare regular progress updates and status reports for program leadership
- Maintain detailed project documentation to support continuity and knowledge transfer
Required Qualifications
- Proven ability to quickly integrate into complex project environments and establish credibility with large teams
- Strong expertise in Organizational Change Management (OCM) methodologies
- Experience conducting readiness assessments and organizational alignment activities
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience balancing tactical issue resolution with long-term strategic planning
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within fast-paced project environments
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise transformation or modernization programs
- Familiarity with PMO governance structures and project lifecycle management
- Experience working with government, public sector, or highly regulated organizations
- Ability to lead diverse cross-functional teams effectively
- Strong documentation and reporting experience
